Terms of Service

What the service does

ResumeLLM rewrites the skills, summary and bullet points of a resume you provide so they align with a job description you provide, and renders the result as a PDF. Employers, project names, dates, locations and education are not altered. At high match intensity the rewrite may add claims your original resume does not evidence; when it does, those claims are listed back to you.

Your responsibility for what you send to employers

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any resume you submit to an employer. The service produces a draft. Reviewing it, removing anything you cannot substantiate, and deciding what to send is your job, not ours.

At match intensities of 75% and above, the service will write in claims your resume does not support and report each one to you. If you submit such a claim without being able to back it up in an interview or a background check, the consequences are yours. We make no representation that any output is accurate, complete or suitable for any particular application.

Accounts

You need an account to use the service. Keep your credentials secure and give accurate information. One person per account; do not share access.

Acceptable use

• Do not submit resumes or personal data belonging to other people without their permission.
• Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits or authentication.
• Do not resell, redistribute or automate access to the service without written permission.
• Do not use the service to produce content that is unlawful or intended to defraud.

Plans, billing and cancellation

The free plan includes 5 refines per calendar month. The Pro plan costs $20 per month and includes 100 refines per calendar month. Allowances reset at the start of each month and do not roll over.

Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Refunds. If the service fails to produce a usable result because of a fault on our side, email us within 14 days and we will refund that month. We do not refund for unused allowance or because you disagreed with the wording a refine produced.

A refine that fails before the model produces output does not consume your allowance. Once the model has produced output, the refine counts — the cost of running it has been incurred.

Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service depends on third parties, including OpenAI, and may be degraded or unavailable when they are.

Your content

You keep all rights to the resumes and job descriptions you provide and to the output you receive. We claim no ownership and do not use your content to train models. See the Privacy Policy for how that content is handled.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeLLM is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities, withdrawn offers, or the outcome of any application or background check. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. If we terminate without cause, we refund any unused portion of the current billing period.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email, and the date above will change. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
